Specs at a Glance

The 2020 Honda Civic is a perfect fit if you're looking for a mid-sized sedan that has power, a spacious interior and above-average gas mileage. Additionally, its exterior is a dream. The following review includes a detailed look at the performance and features the Civic LX and Civic Sport have to offer.

Performance

If performance is what's most important to you, then either one of these trim levels will impress you. Both trim levels come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor that puts out 158 horsepower. The LX trim has a slightly higher fuel-efficiency, however. You can get up to 30 miles in the city and 38 miles on the highway in the LX. The Sport will give you up to 29 miles in the city and 36 miles on the highway. Those are both great numbers for fuel-efficiency. This car would make an excellent vehicle for commuters or daily drivers.

Appearance

The 2020 Honda Civic comes in several exterior body color choices such as Aegean Blue, Lunar Silver and Rallye Red. The LX trim sits on 16-inch steel wheels while the Sport offers 18-inch alloy wheels as standard for enhanced appearance and performance. Both Civic trims are also equipped with projector-beam halogen headlights with auto on/off, taillights with integrated LED light bars and body-colored door handles. When selecting the Sport trim, it offers an aggressive, sportier touch with a center outlet exhaust.

Features

Both models have a heap of entertainment features that are designed for your convenience. The LX comes with standard electronic features such as a 5-inch central display screen and a four-speaker sound system. However, you may want to go with the Sport model if you're looking for a bit more from the entertainment lineup. The Sport has everything that the LX model has in addition to smart device integration, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. You may prefer the LX if you're happy with having standard entertainment features and are not concerned with all the extras.
