Now through Jan. 2, 2017, Six Flags Over Texas is hosting a holiday celebration that enthralls both young and old. Holiday in the Park offers exciting rollercoasters for thrill seekers as well as milder rides for young ones; not to mention that you’ll encounter tons of special performances, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts and lots of fun food options.
Singing and dancing abound with shows like "All I Want for Christmas," "A Jolly Holiday" and the "Reindeer Holi-Daze Dance Party." Plus, when you’re not enjoying live performances, you’re sure to stay busy hopping on rides like El Conquistador, Bugs Bunny Cloud Bouncer and other popular attractions. When you need to take a moment to slow down and catch your breath from all of the excitement, jump aboard the SantaLand Express for a tour through an enchanted wonderland!
While there’s plenty of fun to be had watching shows and tackling rides, we think the glittering lights and decorations that cover the park are the most fun touch! They provide a magical experience you can’t get at any other time of year.
There’s even an awesome Trees of Light Spectacular featuring 70 Christmas trees with thousands and thousands of lights that dance to holiday music. The wonderfully choreographed lights are spellbinding as anyone who’s witnessed will tell you. Along with this, the Fa-La-La-La Light Show is also a must-see!
