New Look
The exterior of the SUV has been revised, with top highlights including its new grille, updated bumper design with revised foglight treatments, and an available new hands-free tailgate with foot-activated sensor.

Increased Cabin & Cargo Space
Due to its increased dimensions – it’s wider, taller and longer – the new CR-V offers top-of-its-class cabin space according to Honda. Cargo space also sees a slight boost, but official dimensions have yet to be released.

More Upscale Cabin & Tech
Inside, higher quality materials are used in several locations. The newly designed instrument panel is cloaked in soft-to-the-touch material, for example. In addition, new available features like the latest Display Audio System make the SUV even more tech friendly. The system now offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as well as new Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation.

Standard Honda Sensing
On CR-V EX and higher trim levels, the Honda Sensing safety suite is now fully integrated, offering systems like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and forward collision warning with pedestrian detection as standard equipment. Blind spot warning and rear cross traffic alert are still available as options.

New Turbocharged Engine
While the base engine carries over, EX and above trims receive the lineup’s first-ever turbocharged engine. The 1.5-liter unit produces 190 horsepower. Fuel economy estimates are 26 city/32 highway/28 combined mpg for 2WD LX models with the CVT automatic.* MPG estimates on other CR-V models are similar.

New Chassis
The Honda CR-V gains a new chassis that optimizes performance, aiding in improved handling and more refined driving dynamics, along with giving the SUV slightly higher ground clearance.
