With a new, sporty and youthful design, the 2018 Honda Fit is back and better than ever. The new model comes with aesthetically pleasing looks and a new Sport trim slotted between the base LX and EX models. The Sport trim takes all of the features offered on the base trim and adds exclusive black-finish 16-inch wheels, a rear diffuser with bright-orange trim, a classy chrome exhaust tip and a Sport badge on the liftgate.

The new Fit Sport is also available with Honda Sensing! The safety suite is optional on LX and Sport trims, and standard on the EX and above. The innovative system is packed with driver assisting and safety technologies, including: Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) and Road Departure Warning (RDW).

Like the rest of the lineup, the new 2018 Honda Fit Sport is offered in several colors, including vibrant new options like Helios Yellow Pearl and Orange Fury.

“With sporty new styling and additional feature content, the 2018 Honda Fit ups the ante with new styling and sophistication not typically found in the subcompact segment. Fit has always represented a great value for subcompact customers and the addition of available Honda Sensing® to its fun-to-drive performance and unmatched versatility will keep the Honda Fit as the industry's benchmark subcompact," said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president of the American Honda Automobile Division.

More in-depth information will be released about the upgrades on the 2018 Honda Fit and new Fit Sport in the near future. In addition, while the previous generation of the Fit is outgoing, it’s still an excellent option among compact cars.
