What's New For the 2021 Honda CR-V?
The Honda CR-V does not get any substantial changes for 2021. It is essentially a duplicate of the 2020 model, which is no issue given the CR-V's high marks for reliability, performance, amenities, and comfort. The CR-V is a compact SUV with much to offer on all four trim levels. It is made in a gasoline and a hybrid version. You can further accessorize by adding many packages and components to the CR-V.
Which Features Are Available for 2021?
The gasoline-powered Honda CR-V is produced in four trims in 2021. Each trim adds even more features than its predecessor. Starting off the lineup is the LX. The LX, like its peers, seats up to five individuals. All trims also benefit from large and comfortable seats. They also have exceptional cargo capacity given their size. The LX comes with cloth upholstery and a five-inch infotainment display screen. It has split-folding rear seats for convenience. The LX includes automatic climate control and an audio system with four speakers.
A bundle of advanced safety aids is standard. With the second trim, called the EX, you'll also get a sunroof, heated front seats, a power-operated driver's seat, and an upgraded infotainment system with a seven-inch display, Android Auto, smartphone pairing, and Apple CarPlay. The EX-L adds more luxury with a hands-free liftgate. It also has an enhanced sound system with twice the number of speakers. Leather seats are standard starting on the EX-L. The Touring adds LED lights to the exterior. Inside, it gets a heated steering wheel, navigation, and a higher-end sound system.

Featuring Great Performance
All 2021 Honda CR-V trim levels have the same engine. A 1.5L engine with four cylinders drives them. This engine, which has a boost of turbo power, produces approximately 190 HP and 179 LB-FT of torque. It is matched to an automatic transmission. The hybrid power plant is a combination of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors rated at 212 hp. The standard drivetrain on all trims is front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is optional.
Honda CR-V Safety Features
The Honda CR-V comes standard with the Honda Sensing package of driver-assist tools. This package has cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and forward collision avoidance. The CR-V adds more safety to the higher-end trims, including blind-spot monitoring.
