What's New For the 2021 Honda HR-V?

You won't see significant changes to this year's Honda HR-V. It's been a very successful few years for this sub-compact SUV, so Honda has decided to focus on the Sport trim levels for the necessary changes. There is a new wheel design to look at, and window tint has been added to the rear window design.

2021 Honda HR-V Trims & Features

Four trim levels will be available for the Honda HR-V this year. Several changes exist between the LX base model, the Sport trim level, EX, and EX-L. They are all equipped with great features that will keep you safe and comfortable, but the EX trim level is a great place to start. It's affordable, and there's still plenty to take advantage of. Heated front seats will keep you comfortable for long drives; a sunroof provides an excellent view, adaptive cruise control is a nice safety feature to have on road trips, passive entry and lane departure warning technology are all included in the EX. Don't forget about automatic emergency braking that will allow your vehicle to react when you're approaching another vehicle too quickly without reacting.

How Well Does the 2021 HR-V Perform?

The standard engine for the HR-V is a 1.8-liter, in-line four-cylinder engine that does not currently have a turbocharged option. You can achieve 141 horsepower and 127 pound-foot of torque. Expect to redline at 6,700 rpm. Fuel economy is a combined 30 miles-per-gallon combined city and highway
