2023 Honda HR-V Exterior

What's New for the 2023 Honda HR-V?

The 2023 HR-V's visibility as an SUV has vastly improved. The A-pillars are thinner, the beltlines on the doors and bonnet are lower, and the driving posture is more comfortable and provides a better viewpoint. Also, not only are the new seats comfy and supportive, but they are also fairly adjustable.

2023 HR-V Trims & Features

The 2023 Honda HR-V is available in four different trim levels. This includes the LX, Sport, and EX-L, which is a version of the EX. The rear row of seats of the LX may be folded. The automobile also boasts cloth upholstery and nice seats all around. The LX's 5-inch LCD is replaced with a 7-inch touchscreen in the second trim level.

The LX's 17-inch painted aluminum alloy wheels set it apart from the competition. The Sport is distinguished by its distinctive 18-inch wheels. It includes paddle shifters that allow for independent gear changes.

The EX-L has a more luxurious interior thanks to the use of more leather. This model's steering wheel and seats are made of leather. A brand-new audio system is included. The EX-L incorporates an automatic rearview mirror reflector. The EX-L trim also includes machined-finish glossy grey alloy wheels.

2023 Honda HR-V Horsepower

The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, which powers the 2023 Honda HR-four-V, adds 17 horsepower and 11 pounds of torque, producing a total of 158 horsepower and 138 pounds of torque. We don't think the new HR-V will be much faster than the current model, which needs 9.6 seconds with a CVT automatic transmission to reach 60 mph.

That is a separate problem. The unusual manual gearbox of the first-generation automobile is no longer available. A CVT is the sole option transmission for either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, which Honda claims is superior and has more power. The all-wheel drive system is almost the same as before but tuned to quickly power the rear wheels when the road is slippery.

Honda HR-V Safety

The most recent edition of Honda Sensing safety features is now standard on the 2023 Honda HR-V. In addition to optional technologies like frontal collision warning and automated emergency braking, all HR-Vs come equipped with cruise control systems and lane departure warning. The HR-V also comes standard with new front-row knee airbags and second-row side airbags.
