After Honda announced that it would discontinue the new Honda Insight hybrid and replace it with the Civic Hybrid, there was a lot of speculation about what this means for the future of hybrids.  Some people are concerned that this move means that hybrids are no longer a viable option, but Honda insists that this is not the case. Instead, they believe the Civic Hybrid is a better option for most people and will be more successful than the Insight.

 

Honda hybrid vehicles are some of the most popular cars on the market. Today, Honda makes a handful of fuel-conscious vehicles designed to have environmental benefits and save drivers money at the gas station. Although Honda has recently released many revolutionary new hybrid models, its first attempt at creating a more fuel-efficient vehicle dates back to the 1970s.

The 2019 Honda Insight makes a great debut on the American automotive market. This mid-size sedan runs on an efficient hybrid powertrain that offers a combined fuel economy of 52 MPG.* In addition to having class-leading efficiency, the car has more than 10 accident-avoidance features. Many of the active safety amenities are included in the patented Honda Sensing package. An 8.0-inch infotainment system with smartphone integration, GPS navigation and other applications is also available in this all-new Honda sedan.

The 2019 Honda Insight was recently revealed at the 2018 New York auto show where its sleek exterior and spacious cabin were showcased to the public. The automaker's hybrid model is similar in design to the Civic but has a long list of tech features for the modern consumer.
